PREDATORS.
Monday, June 29th, 2009
Adam flew in from Denver, Colorado to begin his left upper sleeve.

The concept begins with Adam’s inner strength represented by the lion and subtle flames which will soon lead into a spiritual theme.

All of us go through our personal hell, and the flames that inflict the pain that we survive is the same pain that makes us. More to come on this piece.

Coincidence? Right after the king of the land, came the king of the skies. Steve came through to hit another pain staking session on his back piece of the iconic Mexican symbol of the eagle and snake.

This client’s roots run deep in his blood, and just like his people, he remained steadfast, and dedicated throughout the struggle. Well done brother.

Alva came through for a quick one to add onto her back piece,….

She originally came in with roses she got tattooed years ago( on the left) and decided to dedicate something for her hometown. Once the pier was done she made the decision to tackle her whole back—we have a ways to go.

This time we went into the inner bicept adding an angel praying next to his portraits of his kids.

Remember this one? Here’s a healed shot. We still have a ways to go to come full circle.

Art itself has it’s protective shell, elements like fame, fortune and the longevity of a brand or system to turn the art or artist into a product. But I keep thinking, when all that is said and done, and that shell burns down to the ground, what then…

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009
On the front end, Willie came through to add onto his lower right sleeve.

Willie decided to add onto his Geisha and lotus by continuing the organic theme..

Meanwhile on the back end, there just isn’t enough hours in the day for this..

But nothings impossible.
